Članak 56. povjerava Uredu za umjetnu inteligenciju olakšavanje kodeksa prakse — instrumenta koji obveze GPAI iz članaka 53. i 55. pretvara u konkretnu praksu. Dok ne postoje usklađene norme, pridržavanje kodeksa praktičan je način dokazivanja usklađenosti.

- Kodeksi su trebali biti gotovi najkasnije do 2. svibnja 2025., izrađeni s pružateljima, tijelima i dionicima
- Komisija može odobriti kodeks i provedbenim aktom dati mu opću valjanost u Uniji — ili utvrditi zajednička pravila ako prikladan kodeks ne nastane
Vremenski okvir usklađenosti
Primjenjuje se od 2. kolovoza 2025. zajedno s ostatkom okvira GPAI; digitalni omnibus iz 2026. nije promijenio taj datum.
