L'articolo 92 consente alla Commissione di smettere di leggere e iniziare a testare: quando le carte non bastano, l'Ufficio per l'IA può valutare direttamente un modello di IA per uso generale — anche con accesso al modello ed esperti indipendenti.

- La Commissione può valutare un modello GPAI quando le informazioni dell'articolo 91 sono insufficienti, o a seguito di un allarme qualificato del gruppo scientifico ex articolo 90
- Le valutazioni possono coinvolgere esperti indipendenti, anche del gruppo scientifico
- La Commissione può chiedere accesso al modello tramite API o altri mezzi tecnici appropriati, incluso il codice sorgente; una preoccupazione seria e comprovata qui accertata è la condizione espressa delle misure dell'articolo 93
Calendario di conformità
Si applica dal 2 agosto 2026; l'Omnibus digitale del 2026 ha rinviato gli obblighi sostanziali ad alto rischio (allegato III al 2 dicembre 2027, allegato I al 2 agosto 2028) ma non ha spostato questa disposizione.
