DGCCRF, coordinating a sectoral network (2025-09-09)
The DGCCRF is to coordinate market surveillance and act as single point of contact, covering prohibited practices and the Art. 50 transparency duties toward the public. Sectoral supervision is split: CNIL (biometrics), Arcom (deepfakes and audiovisual), ACPR (finance), ANSSI (cybersecurity), HAS/ANSM (health). France had not completed designation in law at the date of review.
National penalties regime laid down Art. 99 Not yet designated
The Art. 99 penalties regime requires a bill; none had been adopted at the date of review.
