Team licences

Team Licences — Certify a Whole Compliance Function at Once

Updated

Buy seats of any certification, toolkit or bundle for your team: volume pricing from two seats, each holder gets their own examination and their own named certificate, and you assign the addresses after you buy.

Seats Off every seat
2–4 −10 %
5–9 −20 %
10–24 −30 %
25+ −40 %

Volume pricing: a team of 7 pays the 5–9 rate on all seven seats, not four at one rate and three at another. And where a higher threshold costs less than the number you asked for, you get the threshold — nobody pays more for fewer seats.

Why a team licence rather than several purchases

Art. 4 binds the organisation, not the individual, and what a supervisor can ask you for is the record of the measures you actually took. A pile of individual receipts in different inboxes is not that record. A licence with named holders, a date against each, and a reclaim history is.

The practical difference shows up at the first inquiry. "We trained our staff" is an assertion. "Eleven named people hold the Deployer certification, each with a verifiable id, issued between March and June, and here is the register" is evidence — and it is the same evidence that satisfies the Art. 26(2) requirement that the people you assign to human oversight have the necessary competence and training.

What a seat is

A seat is one named person's access to one plan: the examination, the certificate it issues, the Open Badge, and the downloadable files where the plan includes any. It is not a shared login, and the distinction is load-bearing — a certificate has to carry a name to be worth anything, and a shared account cannot produce one.

Seats are assigned by you, after purchase, from a management page reached through a link we send when you buy. You can reclaim a seat and reassign it as people join and leave. What you cannot do is un-issue a certificate someone has already earned: reclaiming a seat closes access, and leaves the achievement standing.

Choosing the plan

The four role certifications suit an organisation that wants each person certified against the obligations their own seat actually carries — a deployer reading provider guidance is the commonest wasted quarter in this field. The practitioner track suits the smaller group who have to produce the register, the data governance evidence and the Annex IV file, and it comes with the three working templates.

Most compliance functions end up buying both: role certifications broadly, and a handful of practitioner seats for the people who own the artefacts.

Toolkits and bundles are licensed per named user too. If what you need is the same file used by more people rather than more courses, seats are the right instrument there as well.

Frequently Asked Questions

Two is the minimum — below that it is simply the product. There is no obligation to fill every seat immediately: you assign addresses as people join, and you can reclaim a seat when someone leaves and give it to their replacement.

No, and that is the point. Nothing is assigned at purchase. You receive a management link, and you add addresses one at a time as you go. At the moment of payment most buyers do not yet know who will sit the examination.

Volume. A team of seven pays the 5–9 rate on all seven seats, not four seats at one rate and three at another. Graduated pricing is harder to predict than it is worth. And where a higher threshold costs less than the count you asked for — nine seats cost more than ten — we sell you the threshold and say so on the page: nobody pays more for fewer seats.

Yes. A seat is not a shared login. Each holder sits their own examination, drawn for them from the question bank, and the certificate carries their own name and its own public id that anyone can verify. A certificate already issued stays valid even if you later reclaim the seat — it was earned.

Reclaim the seat from the management page and assign it to their replacement. Their access closes at the next click. Their certificate, if they passed, keeps resolving and keeps verifying: revoking a seat is not revoking an achievement.

Yes — buy a second licence for the same plan and you will manage both. If you expect to grow past a threshold soon, buying up to the threshold now is usually cheaper than buying twice, and the configurator shows you the figures for both.

Write to us. Past that size there is procurement, a security review and an invoice attached, and a card checkout is the wrong instrument for the conversation. The ladder on this page is still the starting point.

No, and none exists for individuals. In the AI Act, conformity assessment and notified bodies apply to AI systems rather than to people (Art. 3(20)-(22), Art. 48), so no body can be notified to certify a person. These are private certificates with public ids anyone can verify, and we say so on the certificate itself.
