AI Risk Management Pro Certification Examination

Updated · Indicative — not legal advice

Sit the AI Risk Management Pro certification examination: 25 questions drawn from a bank of 104, stratified across all eight modules, graded on the server. 70% to pass.

Twenty-five questions on running an EU AI Act compliance programme: the programme mandate and the role determination, inventory and classification, the Art. 9 register, Art. 10 data governance evidence, the Annex IV file, oversight and logging, assurance and conformity routes, and the post-market cadence.

The paper is drawn per candidate from a bank of 104 and stratified across all eight modules, so every candidate is examined on the whole syllabus. It is graded on our server; the answer key never reaches your browser.

Twenty-five questions · 70% to pass · retakes included · every answer returned with its reasoning and its article.

The questions are operational rather than definitional. A typical item gives you a situation and four defensible-sounding positions, and turns on a qualifier: to the best extent possible in Art. 10(3), not foreseen or planned in Art. 3(23), points 2 to 8 in Art. 43(2), at least six months in Art. 19. Knowing that Art. 9 is the risk management system earns you very little here; knowing what makes an accepted residual risk defensible earns you most of the paper.

Before you start

This examination is part of the AI Risk Management Pro track. The eight modules are free to read. The examination, the certificate and the three working templates are the paid part, and the address you sit under must be the address the track was bought for.

If you have not bought the track, start with the free AI Act Fundamentals examination — same engine, same certificate machinery, no charge.

What the certificate is

A private certificate issued by Regulation AI, carrying a public id anyone can verify, plus an Open Badge you can attach to a LinkedIn profile. It is not an official EU credential; no such thing exists for individuals, because the Regulation's conformity assessment applies to AI systems rather than to people (Art. 3(20)-(22), Art. 48). That is printed on the certificate itself.

Frequently Asked Questions

Twenty-five, drawn per candidate from a bank of 104 and stratified so that all eight modules are covered on every paper. Two candidates typically share around six questions. The pass mark is 70%, and every answer comes back with its reasoning and its article.

Yes. The eight modules are free to read — we do not paywall the explanation of a regulation — but the examination, the certificate and the three working templates are the paid part. Sit the examination under the address the track was bought for.

The role examinations test whether you know what the Regulation requires of your role. This one tests whether you could produce the records: what goes in a register row, which element of Annex IV holds a given fact, in what order two determinations have to be settled, and which of two defensible-sounding positions a supervisor could actually challenge. Several questions have two plausible answers and turn on a qualifier in the article.

On our server. The answer key never reaches the browser, and the paper you receive carries the questions and options only. The order of the options differs between candidates. Every answer comes back with the reasoning and the article behind it, whether you got it right or not.

Yes, and retakes are included. Your best score is kept, and a pass issues one certificate per person per course — re-passing does not mint a second id. Because the paper is drawn deterministically per candidate, reloading does not reroll an easier one.
